Sony Nomination for Andy

Andy has been nominated for a prestigious Sony Radio Academy Award for his work on the BBC Radio Sheffield ‘Good Neighbour’ Appeal during last Summer’s floods. The Sony Award ‘Community Category’ recognises community achievement by a Radio Station.

The station also has a nomination for Kate Linderholm’s excellent flood documentary for BBC Radio Sheffield.

The awards ceremony is to be held at London’s Park Hotel on Monday 12th May 2008, when the final winners in all categories will be revealed.
