Andy specialises in work with and for voluntary, community and faith sector groups, but has delivered training for private sector organisations, colleges and companies.

Dealing with the media can be daunting at first, especially if you are new to it, but with training, the experience can be made enjoyable and beneficial to your organisation or group. Andy can provide one to one training or discrete training for a small or large group.

Andy can no longer offer any commercial services as an employee of the BBC
However, he will still consider free of charge services for charitable and not-for-profit organisations & groups.

Andy Kershaw’s media awareness courses have proved very useful to local groups and charities who are without professional press or communications officers.

The course is very small and interactive and Andy likes to work with small groups. Andy delivers the course currently for Bassetlaw Council for Voluntary Service, Doncaster CVS and has delivered the courses in Barnsley for the Volunteer Centre and for CEDR ( the Community Education resource arm of Rotherham College) in Rotherham. He has also tutored on similar courses at Northern College in Barnsley.
